The Famous Dell Runaround Evasion

After 10 hours ,maybe more & 10 days I still have not resolved my problem. My son purchased a laptop for my husband for Father's Day. He came June 18th with it. My husband opened it - looked around a bit-went fishing came back to  a fatal error- went to dinner- Called Dell 5 AM on the 19th. Hard drive shot. Offered a refurbished hard drive. Would not replace because shipping date was 23 days.(with a holiday Memorial Day).

After numerous calls -no call backs- this is still not resolved.This laptop was not on for 2 hours at best. No one will give you an address to return it- promised supervisors- never heard from them- disconnected from sales office 2 times. Claim denied twice- never notified- I had to call back. E-mail to company has not been replied to after 5 days. Told no supervisor available- what a joke- Am I stuck with this piece of junk.

Dell is like a secret organization- no one can give out any info- no corporate numbers or addresses. OPEN YOUR EYES- DO NOT BUY DELL-GO TO ANY WHERE BUT DELL

I had the exact same thing happen. Bought new 15" laptop from Dell. Fatal hard drive crash within 2 weeks. Over 40 emails texts management escalations and I have written this message dozens of times with only I cant do anything its in the escalation teams hands--that was 6 weeks ago without a phone call or email despite going through dozens of hours of diagnostics, dozens more hours of work lost due to sudden crash. They are dispicable lying people. Ive been told to wait by my phone 4 times for a phone call that never came. I was told by ERICA79JANE a Dell supervisor that a tech would be at my house within 1-3 business days. Not a call or visit. I have been doing this for nearly 3 months and the warranty is actually going to expire before they ever answer "I will be as clear as possible, I bought a new Dell direct from Dell, financed by Dell Financial, it arrived defective out of the box and Dell has already invested dozens of THEIR techs and CS peoples time just to screw me. I filed with California Attorney Generals office yesterday and will file with BBB of south Texas as advised by an Austin attorney. This is insane. It would be easier getting a refund or repair on a Chinese hoverboard, bought from China!
